Currently we are looking for exceptional Payment Specialist to join our team in Lodz, Poland.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Payment Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of payment activities within the Treasury function, ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. The role contributes to maintaining high data quality, resolving payment‑related inquiries, and supporting the Treasury team in effective cash management activities.

Core responsibilities:

  • Execute domestic and international payments in accordance with internal procedures, bank cut‑off times

  • Ensure timely and accurate payment runs, including automated transactions

  • Monitor payment statuses and resolve payment rejections, recalls, and investigations

  • Ensure that payment runs are executed in compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory guidelines

  • Support balance sheet account reconciliation processes, including month‑end closing activities and reporting

  • Respond to internal and external queries related to payment processing in a professional and timely manner

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Master Data, and other stakeholders

  • Identify process inefficiencies and actively support continuous improvement and best‑practice implementation

  • Contribute to high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction through reliable and high‑quality service delivery

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance and/or Accounting, or completion of a relevant course; or currently in the final year of study

  • At least 2 years of related experience in Accounting and/or Finance roles, preferably payments, Accounts Payable or P2P operations

  • Languages: English min. B2 is a must (both speaking and in writing); Polish: min. B1 level

  • Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office; (VBA skills, power Bi would be an asset)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
