About the Role

The CampusRelations Sr. Specialist plays a vital role in developing and maintaining relationships with universities, colleges, high schools, and student organizations to promote our company as an employer of choice. This role will focus on attracting and recruiting diverse talent from various academic institutions and will work closely with the Talent Acquisition, Multicultural Affairs, and HR Business Partner teams and hiring managers to ensure our recruiting practices are inclusive, equitable, and successful.

We are looking for a CampusRelations Sr. Specialist to lead, support and scale our various campus hiring efforts through substantial growth of our internship, co-op, rotational development, and new grad programs.

University Relationships:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key contacts at target universities, colleges, and student organizations.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for university career centersclubs/organizations, and relevant faculty members.

  • Highschool & Trade School Relationships:

  • Work with Director, Talent Acquisition & MA to set targeted strategy at local high schools; develop contacts, event coordination, site visits, presentations, etc.

  • Engage directly with High Schools, trade schools to improve pipeline of talent into our Process Operations roles.

  • Campus Recruitment:

  • Plan, coordinate and participate in campus events, including career fairs, presentations, information sessions, and interviews.

  • Support our Engineering recruitment efforts in partnership with our Engineering Recruitment Lead and Engineering HR Business Partner.

  • Develop and execute strategic campus recruitment programs and initiatives, primarily focused on underrepresented groups.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers, HRBPs, and recruiters to understand their intern and entry-level talent needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies in alignment with Primient’s Overall Talent Attraction Strategy

  • Lead our efforts for sourcing new (recent graduate) engineering candidates, through campus efforts and job requisition management.

  • Inclusive Recruitment:

  • Partner with the Multicultural Affairs team to integrate inclusive recruiting practices into all campus engagement activities.

  • Proactively seek out and engage with diverse student populations and organizations.

  • Identify and address potential barriers to attracting and recruiting diverse talent.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other HR functions and business units to ensure alignment with university relations and DEI&B goals.

  • Develop and maintainstrong communication channels with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Track and report on key metrics related to campus recruitment and DEI&B initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for campusrelations, early talent, and delivering a superb candidate experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in university relations, campus recruiting, or a related role.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Experience working with diverse student populations and organizations.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to travel to universities and attend campus events as needed up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or related industry.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technologies (Handshake, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Lever).
